I think I am having a bad day

I am convinced that office equipments come to life after 5. In fact they're tricksters, pranksters, they love playing little games ...such as paper jams, lets shut down for no reason (I think this is their way of pouting),hide the file,and the latest...disconnect the telephone line.

I can hear them laughing at me. I feel them looking at me, snickering to one another. It makes me want to slap them right upside the head, kick em, pound em, smash them around. But this method of violence doesn't seem to work. So all I am left to do is UNPLUG.


Muahahahahahaha........Muahahahahahaha.........Mahahahahahaha........

Of course I'm gonna have to eventually turn the computer back on to check my email :}

Thank Goodness it's Wednesday

Lets talk about TV commercials. The typical person waits for a tv commercial for a bathroom break or snack break or a phone call. Even I can say I am typical this way. SOMETIMES. Like during my "I love TV Wednesdays" America's Next Top Model and The Bachelor. Frankly I could do without the commercials during those shows. But when I'm only watching TV for no specific show I find myself watching commercials. They're like mini movies or music video clips. I wait until whatever show it is that's on to take my little breaks.

Here are some of my favorites lately:
# 1 Extras Gum - I love that Irish gum! "See you at the finish line sweet pea!"
# 2 Glade Air Freshener(I think) - the girl that rips off the one on the wall, look at the expression on the guy's face.
# 3 Juicy Fruit - Guitar smashing!!
# 4 Geico - The Tiny House "Reality" show.
# 5 Glad Cling Wrap - I just like that Glad Guy in white.
# 6 Tim Hortons - Chili Bowl, the guy drawing a heart over 12:30 lunch.Love the 80's cheesy music in the background.

I'm afraid I've run out of things to write....

Snacks & Sleepiness

Chocolate covered almonds (the ones you buy to donate to parapeligic society)
Chips (Lays BBQ or Jalapeno)
Ice cream (with cake)
Gin & Tonic (when the sun is shining out there, so I pretend it's summer again)
Coconut bun (although I am almost at the point of over dosing)
Grapefruit cider...(reminds me of sitting with my mom in the front patio)

Listed above are some of the things I crave around 3pm everyday while I am at work, trying not to look at the clock. At this point I am in awe at how sleepy I am and how irritating and loud the ringing of the phone is. My head definetly weighs heavier than 8 pounds right now.

Afternoon sleepiness is a hazard to the office community. I know when I get instructions to do anything at this point I feel like that crazy caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland saying "Who....are you...........?" I said "Whooooooooo are you?

Our chubby & cute pomeranion dog Rosie is even experiencing the afternoon lull. Contrary to popular belief, "Afternoon sleepiness does not result from consuming a large meal". In Rosie's case it is.

Anyway...off I go for another cup of Maxwell House office style coffee.

It's not easy being green.

So Brett & Mike treated me to my 1st live football game. I was excited as if I was going to a GAP sale. My pregame concern was what to wear. I wanted to look sporty you know - fit for the stands of a Lions Football game. I wore a bright green jersey top with a pair jeans and my new cream colored hat! I was very happy with it.

When we got to the game I knew it was gonna be as exciting as I anticipated. People were waving around flags, cheering, dressed in football jerseys in our home team colors - black & orange (I wished I had something orange to wear). But I also noticed a lot of people wearing bright green, just like my top, so I was secretly thinking hey...this green color is probably a cool football color until some guy draped in a green flag, with a green face gives me a thumbs up and yells "Go ROUGH RIDERS!!"

What? Who are they? Then like a black cloud coming over me...I realized that I am wearing the color of the opposing team. The Saskatchewan Rough Riders. Not that I have anything against Saskatchewan, my Grandma is from there. But really I am definetly more of a Vancouverite and very proud of it. So as I was sitting there, I see eyes of local fans glaring at me while I keep mouthing - I'm just wearing the wrong color, hehe.

The game was fantastic! Touchdown on the 1st minute. We were on fire!!! We had a few minutes left and Saskatchewan scores 22 points in less then 3 minutes putting them in the lead. Green fans were ectatic! and I was feeling even more green. Enough is enough. I took off my green jersey and decided to just wear the white shirt I had on underneath. I felt better instantly. And apparently so did the Lions cause they scored a 90 yard touchdown with only half a minute left, giving us a thrilling 40-38 victory over the rough riders!

Nationwide Audience

PeriA and I came to a sad realization last night.

We don't have an audience. Nobody reads this blog other than the authors or the frequent commenters - you know who you are! We nearly cried ourselves laughing, not uncommon for us to do at meetings. Sometimes it's due to hunger, sleepiness, or lack of paying attention and resorting to silly thoughts like our blog, Ray Charles' blindness, shopping, how much money someone owes me...

Once again - who am I talking to?
