It's not uncommon for girls to like the color pink. It's sweet, pretty and very feminine. For me this color has become an addiction. I hesitate to give any other color a chance. When I step into a store, my hand automatically reaches to the pink shirt, shampoo, note pad, even a toothbrush.
I 1st became associated with PiNk when I was labeled "Pink & Pop" in a surprise interview I received after I entered a cattle call for Popstars. Yes. POPSTARS. I wore a simple pink halter top to the audition. With only 5 song choices I sang "Dancing Queen" by Abba - I don't know why cause I can't stand that song. Moving on....so my photo along with a headline that read "I WANNA BE A POPSTAR" was on the PROVINCE newspaper. I didn't end up wanting to be a popstar that bad though, not bad enough to do Britney Spears dance moves. So....I got cut. I was out of there. "We will not be putting you through to the next round at this time" the judge said sincerely. At this time? Maybe next week? Why do people say that? Like this one time I went shopping for a lamp. I noticed that it had a tiny crack on it so I asked if I could get a discount, 10 or maybe 5 % off. The lady at the counter said to me: "We will not be giving you a discount at this time." Oh...Ok, so if I come back in a few minutes maybe you'll reconsider?
I bought the lamp anyway, I had to. It was only $10.
Back to Pink. I have organized my files at work according to color. Thanks to 101 Business Supplies . Pink folders means our listing, our sale, which means more $$. Next topic.
Until then...
